Teenage Guiding
Teenage Guiding is a great and safe way for older children to transition from kids clubs to guiding. The programme offers teenagers and young adults from the ages of 16 – 19 years a professional guiding experience led by a qualified ski guide from the local area.
The guide is always a professional instructor who will provide an exciting guiding experience, exploring different parts of the mountain every day, whilst working on their technique and challenging themselves safely.
Timings: Sign in at 8.30am and sign out at 4.00pm (location will be confirmed in resort).
Lunch arrangements: Those in Teenage Guiding will eat at a variety of mountain restaurants during the week, unlike our younger children’s clubs, they won’t always be supervised by our team but they will always have their qualified ski guide with the group. A member of the Powder Byrne team will check in with the guide and those in the group regularly.
They will require approximately 20/ 25 Euros or CHF per day to pay for their lunch. We highly recommend children bring a “Kid’s Debit card” for payment, such as Revolut, Go Henry, Monzo or similar. This should make for a smoother experience settling lunch bills in resort and it’s also possible for parents to see their child’s activity on the card.
What to bring: Ski-suit/jacket/pants, ski gloves, ski socks, warm base layers, ski goggles and/or sunglasses, warm hat. Powder Byrne provide all children with a ski helmet and a fun welcome gift.
Evening activity nights: On two evenings during the week (Monday and Thursday) there will be an evening activity from approximately 7.00pm-9.00pm.
**Please note activity nights during the December and festive period will vary. Please speak to your Client Concierge team for further information.**
