Flims is an excellent resort. With access to 235 km of high-altitude skiing, for your Powder Byrne ski holiday Flims has a reputation for being one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Alps, and it offers a wide range of mesmerising runs to choose from. You will find plenty of mountain restaurants to enjoy, such as Startgels and Das Elephant. When you’re not on the slopes, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, such as ice skating, Curling, and the Kids Freestyle Academy. The picturesque Lake Caumasee, tucked on the outskirts of the charming village, is a must visit. Take in breathtaking views of the unique turqoise lake while walking alongside on a gentle path.
Flims is linked with its neighbouring resort, Laax, forming the extensive Flims-Laax-Falera ski area. The scenery in Flims is stunning, and there are slopes suitable for all levels, from beginners to experts. One of the longest pistes in the Alps runs from the Vorab Glacier and makes its way to Flims along some reds and blues. This makes for a tranquil but adrenaline-fueled and scenic run. For the more experienced skiers, we recommend the long black run-off Vorab to Lavadinas . Our clients rave about the 12km run from La Siala to Flims via Grauberg, as it provides a bit of everything: steep, gentle, or off-piste routes, beautiful views, and a lunch stop at the famous Ustria Stargels restaurant.
