When the snows of winter melt away, the Italian Dolomites are transformed into a natural playground of mountains, lakes and meadows. A UNESCO World Heritage site of extraordinary natural beauty, the Dolomites consist of 9 mountain ranges spread across the Italian regions of Belluno, South Tyrol and Trentino.

The Dolomites offer an incredible range of outdoor activities such as via ferrata (protected climbing), mountain biking, e-biking, horse riding and white water rafting, as well as luxury stays in some amazing hotels and mountain lodges and many fantastic restaurants serving culinary delights. Also a historically important region, the Dolomites was the theatre for fierce fighting between Italian and Austro-Hungarian forces during the First World War, with several open air museums today preserving their memory. There is so much on offer in the Dolomites region and certainly something for all the family to enjoy.
